Thoughts On Advertising
Money is tight! YEP. But shouldn’t it always be? There’s nothing like a good old fashioned recession to bring business owners back to prudent spending habits. When the economy is throwing money at you like a ticker tape parade it’s easy to slip into a carefree spending mode. Questions like “Do we really need that?” just stop getting asked.

When it comes to advertising, we all know we need it. No one succeeds by keeping their business a secret. But what kind will pay off for my niche? How much of it do I need? The specific answers depend upon your industry. And, without regard to specifics, it’s safe to say that a mixture is always the best plan. Maybe you initially caught your customer’s eye with a billboard or TV commercial. But most of us depend upon repeat orders and referrals to survive until retirement. And that, my fellow business warriors, is the strong suit of the Promotional Products Industry.

Leave a reminder with your client! Preferably something useful that will remain in sight. Once in a while, give them something to make them smile.

Our specialty is T-Shirt printing and design. Who says you can’t advertize your company on a T-Shirt and spread a little good will at the same time! Be creative. If you think about it, the most memorable and talked about advertisements on TV are funny. Advertising does not have to be serious to be good. Use a funny expression or eye catching graphic on the back of your T-Shirt and put your logo on the front. Getting noticed is what it’s all about. That and repetition. Imagine how much advertising you could get by wandering around Walmart on a Saturday morning wearing a custom printed T-Shirt that catches people’s eye.
